As a University student, your response is important to my study.
Filipino dramas and shows are too explicit (always contains nudity, sexual activities, bad words, and bad jokes) They are normalizing it like in Hollywood, they always compare Philippines to West countries but both countries are NOT THE SAME, we are not born in our culture to be this too sexualized
There are a few reasons why Filipino dramas and shows may sometimes be perceived as explicit.
* **Cultural differences:**
Filipino culture is generally more open and expressive than some other cultures. This can be reflected in the way that Filipino dramas and shows portray relationships, sexuality, and other topics.
* **Audience expectations:**
Filipino audiences are often drawn to dramas and shows that are realistic and relatable. This can lead to storylines that explore mature themes and situations.
* **Competition:**
The Philippine television industry is highly competitive, and networks are constantly trying to find ways to attract viewers. One way to do this is to produce shows that are more daring and provocative.
It’s important to note that not all Filipino dramas and shows are explicit. There are many that are appropriate for all audiences. However, it’s also important to be aware of the potential for explicit content before watching a Filipino drama or show.
Ultimately, whether or not Filipino dramas and shows are too explicit is a matter of personal opinion. Some viewers may find them to be too graphic, while others may appreciate their realism and honesty.
Filipino dramas and shows are not inherently too explicit. The content of Filipino television series, or teleseryes, can vary greatly depending on the specific show and its target audience. While some shows may have more intense or dramatic scenes, this is not a characteristic unique to Filipino dramas. The global television industry includes a wide range of genres and styles, and what is considered “explicit” can be subjective and culturally dependent
